Our approach is based on a combination of these two themes:
- A solid understanding of human beings. Remember, they are the most important element of the company. This understanding allows us to work on the following points:
- What can we do to encourage people to get involved? What motivates them? What can cause them to withdraw? How can we stimulate team initiative?
- What does a given position or mission require relationally to succeed?
- What elements can foster agreement between two specifically identified people? Their disagreement? In other words, what does one person absolutely need in order to get along with another?
- How can we develop a leadership that reflects us? What should I do as a manager to be more influential without being authoritarian?
- How can I develop the skills to limit stress levels – mine, the members of my team, etc. – as much as possible, as well as the resulting psychosocial issues?
- A hands-on approach. Staying connected with the Vision/the objectives of the company sets the tone for our interventions. More specifically:
- You have an objective and an established road map.
- We identify the necessary skills with you – both as a collective, then individually – to achieve this road map.
- We deploy the necessary methods – training, coaching, on-site support, etc. – so that people acquire these skills.
- We support key people in achieving their goals by optimizing what they have learned.
- The structure of the company must also be reflected on, for the development of Collective Intelligence since this structure must support the expertise, processes, and methods, as well as be sufficiently open to allow for exchange between services/departments. Depending on the situation, we can encourage some structural simplification or, inversely, identify necessary densification or redeployment. The structure of the company plays an important role in developing Collective Intelligence.
Most training organizations are comfortable with one or the other of these two points, but rarely with both. However, they are indissociable for those who wish to work on Collective Intelligence.
