Who are we ?

“To travel the world and discover its inhabitants.” This desire, which has occupied my mind for as far back as I can remember, has guided my journey like an arrow.

Born in a small city close to Lyon, I moved to Paris as soon as I finished my studies (IUT + LEA). From there, a wonderful life began:

Selling “hectographic duplicators” (also known as “Ditto” or “Bando” machines) deep within the Amazon, or negotiating with Uruguayan, Swedish, Japanese, or Chinese perfume distributors, I did not mind, as long as my job brought me to far-off countries and cultures.

The experiences of my “first professional life” brought me to work in the luxury goods industry for about 15 years as an area export manager. In this capacity, I worked with Givenchy, Paco Rabanne, Pierre Balmain, Caron, and Murano.

This journey culminated with marketing bronze objects for one of the artisans of French heritage, Art et Style, as an Export Director; more specifically, these activities were carried out in the United States and Asia.

These different missions abroad allowed me to develop a solid knowledge of English and Spanish, languages that I speak fluently.

Then along came motherhood, which required putting away the suitcases for a bit. It also gave me the chance to develop a new professional project: training and communicating, since my international experience provided real skills in managing diversity, intercultural management, and in short, an understanding of behavior.

Beyond experience, this project required a solid theoretical base and – who said people can’t start again – so I enrolled in the NLP University in Santa Cruz on the West Coast of America.

Then, there was the creation of a first training organization: Forest Consulting, dedicated to behavioral training in companies. Forest Consulting lasted 5 years and saw the creation of the Persona method.

The continuation is now with HPC with one strong desire: to internationalize what we do!

To travel the world…

Before HPC, I had an unusual journey! I completed a Masters in business law, spent thirteen years in sales departments in the pharmaceutical industry, lived vibrant passions (for everything that moves quickly), all this revealed two constants:

• Collective success has always appeared to me to be more powerful (in terms of joy as well as efficiency) than individual success. But I observed many times over that companies still have a poor command of the ins and outs of this success (what about exceptions? Psychosocial risks, formatting certain discourse, monotypic hiring, etc.).
• I always wanted to create and develop a unique entity in line with my aspirations.

The continuation was a very logical step to me. As co-creator of HPC, two things motivate my work above all:

• Making connections between intellectual approaches that, up until that moment, are not related by anything else in order to create a new coherence that provides lasting solutions. It is this reflection, although it is time-consuming, that allows us to provide added value to our clients and justifies the existence of HPC.
• Working with others, because individuals are like waves: they are never the same! During a presentation, we are always surprised and astonished, without ever “seeing it coming.” The opportunity for amazement and wonder is always there. However, it depends on one thing: knowing how to create conditions that encourage free and relaxed speech. Then, the coach and the group are able to have a rare experience, which is combined with Collective Intelligence.

A noble profession, in the service of useful companies…
